When we serve, we are listening to and helping others, cultivating relationships with people. When we tell our story, we are sharing the good news of how Christ saved our life, and can save others too. Our serve teams are designed to empower everyone to use their gifts to enlarge the Kingdom.
Serve Team Positions
Description: Help people to feel welcomed when they enter the Worship Center
Frequency: Sundays (rotations)
Description: Visit with those who are hospitalized. Training is provided.
Frequency: Sundays (rotations)
Description: Every week the team is assigned prayer requests that are written on the connection cards.
Frequency: Sundays (rotations)
Description: The team provides meals for a church member returning home from the hospital and various other reasons.

Description: Welcome & Connect New Here People to Discovery, and help answer people’s questions about the church and sign them up for events/serving

Sound Person: This person runs the audio for Sunday worship services and live events.
Propresenter Operator: This person runs the slides for lyrics and sermon notes.
Lighting Operator: This person runs the lighting for Sunday worship services and live events.
Camera and Live Stream Operator: This person runs the cameras during the services and streams to the internet.
ALL production and worship team must be available all services on Sunday.
ALL production and worship team members rotate weekends due to their own availability.
Band Instrumentalist: This person plays a musical instrument for Sunday worship services and live events.
Worship Vocalist: This person sings for Sunday worship services and live events.
ALL production and worship team must be available all services on Sunday.

Description: help ensure the safety of our congregation while they worship.

Description: help clean and sanitize and reset for next week.

Description: help tear down tents, chairs, and tables following worship service and special events

Description: help clean up, sanitize, and reset the Worship Center between services

Discovery Kids Cleaning Team Member – Assist with cleaning and sanitizing classrooms or restrooms during the week.
Discovery Kids Greeter – Greet families, check-in children to class (following screening procedures), escort new families to the appropriate Sunday School class and check-out children at the end of service Sunday mornings. Adults and mature high school students are welcome to serve as a Discovery Kids Greeter.
Elementary Volunteer Leader – Assist with children in Grades 1 – 5 Sunday mornings. Adults and high school students are welcome to serve. Substitute positions are also available.
Infants Volunteer Leader – Serve by caring for infants Sunday mornings. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Substitute positions are also available.
Preschool Volunteer Leader – Assist with children age 3 – Kindergarten Sunday mornings. Adults, high school and middle students are welcome to serve. Substitute positions are available.
Toddlers / 2-Year Olds’ Volunteer Leader – Assist with toddlers and children age 2 years Sunday mornings. Adults, high school, and middle school students are welcome to serve. Substitute positions are also available.
- Youth Leaders: Invest in students by building relationships, leading small groups, and helping students belong, grow, and become more like Jesus.
- Volunteers: Support Youth Nights and special events through hospitality, games, check-in, set-up, and creating a welcoming environment for students and families.
- Office & Administrative Team: Use your organizational gifts to help with communication, registrations, scheduling, and behind-the-scenes tasks that support the ministry and its mission.

Description: Make and provide coffee and variety of cafe drinks, with variety of pastries. While helping provide a welcoming and comfortable space for people to hang out in between services.
Frequency: Sundays (rotations)
Description: Helps seniors or medically challenged adults with minor repairs at home.
